Implants used to retain the full lower denture

The lower full denture is a notoriously difficult appliance to use, especially as mandibular jaw bone can resorb away to a degree that can totally eliminate any potential for denture retention.

With loss of retention, chewing ability decreases, until eventually the wearer is forced to sustain themselves on a puree diet.

Strategically placed implants can dramatically improve full-denture retention and chewing function.
